About 20 years ago I built a skin on frame kayak using the old Inuit method. When I was finished I placed the kayak on my front lawn and was going to take a few pictures of my work. My ex was in the house and noticed what I was doing. She ran outside and told me that she should pose by the kayak. I still have those pics somewhere. I cringe every time I look at them. I just tell people that she was the whale I harpooned.
