Broke up with my girlfriend a few months ago. Wasn’t a terrible relationship but wasn’t great. She was actually my first. It hurt for about a month.

But now I just feel as happy, if not even happier, being single as when I was in the honeymoon stage with her.

The difference is, right now I’m not falling for an illusion or ideal. I’m just enjoying normal life.
