I felt so sad for him. He's always been pretty beta bux because unfortunately he doesn't really have much in the looks department and has to show his value by throwing his cash around.

He makes pretty good money and is objectively successful for his age, but the look on his face when he was deciding what to get her just showed so much dejection.

He ended up buying her a $300 necklace and didn't ever stop to think if thats what he really WANTED to do, but thought thats what he is SUPPOSED to do. I told him thats how you attract gold diggers and he didn't look too happy about getting this gift for a girl he's known for 2 weeks. He said he needs to do what he can to stand out.

But thats just the way he is I guess. That won't be the way I be though. I just feel bad for all those guys who still think their money will be what gets them the girl.

And yes this was around valentines day. He will have to learn the hard way, or maybe he won't ever learn at all.
