The "hate" is based on some statements the lead actress said about "white men" that got a lot of people in a tizzy and some YouTubers were going to boycott it.

I just have no interest in Capt. Marvel, but I was never one for comic books myself.

the main actress is the ugly king of feminist. people taught she couldn't keep her politics away from the movie and they were right.

Okay let's have two perspectives on it one the political and one on the movie, let's start with the movie. 1. She basically started a huge wave of hate against white males being critics, too many being in the capt. Marvel team etc etc 2. Plain and simple she is a man hater. 3. Rotten tomatoes changing their review system 4. Media cites calling reviewers trolls even after the movie was released. 5. Rotten tomatoes constantly deleting reviews and finally bringing up the score from 23% to 55%. 6. Anyone who thinks that the movie did well because it bought in 450m$ and hence it was a good movie is ignorant. It's a marvel movie for god's sake. The movie side. 1. The movie was trash, the action scenes were trash, the villain was weak and trash, the story behind Fury's eye was trash and finally brie Larson's acting in the movie was you guessed it trash.

Watched the movie, don’t care about boycotts, and it’s shit. Lackluster story or motivations.

If you take out two minor roles every white man in that movie is aggressive and hateful. That’s what got the real “fuck you” out of me. They couldn’t have been more clear about this open sexism/racism.
