Gentlemen, I am now officially a debt free homeowner.
I've been apprehensive to share this on here because I'm not entirely MGTOW: I'm in a LTR but do not cohabitate. However, I feel that this section needs more shared success stories and positivity.
My background: Low 40s, work in STEM, financially live low profile. I was ruined by my divorce at the age of 27, while still in college. My credit was destroyed because she didn't pay her debts which had my name on them; I even had a court ordered financial judgement against me so I wouldn't be able to take any loans out until her debts we paid. I lost all my savings paying them off, and my ability to borrow money was affected for almost a decade. I also had to pay her child support, but I was fine with that because the amount I paid wasn't exorbitant, and I did get to see my son a lot.
After graduating and fooling around for a few years, wasting what little money I had on women and chasing tail, I focused on work and n. I learned other trades as hobbies like welding and mechanics, got side jobs when I could (working nights as a waiter or a stock room clerk) , got one reliable, used truck and learned how to maintain it via the Internet
I refuse to marry, and will not have anymore kids no matter how much a woman were to beg. I feel that refusing marriage and having anymore kids has gotten me this far.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
