We got robots that can clean every floor in the entire house automatically, household appliances that can go through all the steps needed on their own, anime, video games and now VR. In short, we got everything needed to make a wife obsolete. I think we win.

Feminists are all about special privileges and zero responsibility, but unfortunately those responsibilities are going to end up creeping up. Special bullshit won't last forever, with declining men's participation is 'higher' education and the workforce and all that. It will make a difference and the perpetually ravenous government doesn't give a shit who it has to chew up, so privileges will be backed off, and responsibilities heaped on. Combine that with the destruction of families and marriage, another feminist goal, and all the ladies won't have much in the way of safety nets.

Continued slides for socialism (another feminist desire) will make an even larger permanent underclass because feminism is still has an elitism problem, and it'll fester and grow. Of course, women have not been shown to be very good at escaping poverty on their own, so they'll get to enjoy that. Instead of getting a part time job to help out a family unit or even just making an environment where a husband can maximize income, she'll be all on her own, independent, because she'll lack any of those 'behind every successful man is a hard working wife' skills that actually make that system work. It's not like that kind of skill is taught anymore.

But media will remain. I'm sure there will be a wistful commentary about how there was this magical time when you could spend all day taking care of your home and kids, that you already have to do anyway except you didn't have to go work in a cubicle 60 hours a week.

They'll get to, as they say, watch their kids grow up in fast forward as they're raised by after school programs, the internet, and strangers you know nothing about instead of their mother, because mommy has to pull a double shift and there's no father around.

Daddy.gov may supply the cash, but he doesn't really make you feel safe when the power goes out or comfort you when you're scared.

So anxiety will rise, Xanax or whatever will be ingested, box wine for all, a cuddles the cat will be petted.
