US Women National Soccer Team players sue US Soccer Federation arguing gender pay discrimination, proving once again that women can’t math and don’t understand the economics of sports/entertainment. If they succeed the male tennis players should launch a lawsuit of their own.

Men watch sport, buy jerseys, season tickets, and merchandises; women, on the other hand, buy dresses, shoes, make up and purses.

This is why male sport players earn more, and it is also why female fashion models earn more than their male counter part.

It has nothing to do with sexism, it's pure economic. You get pay based on how much you can bring in. We don't see women bitching about male porn actors getting pay less.

They should be telling more women to support their favorite female sport team; the more rating and money the franchise bring in, the more negotiation power they have. But NO, they would rather spend money on shoes and star buck, but still want female team to get pay the same as male team. What they are asking for is essentially "welfare"; pay women more at the expense of men.

Women want free shit, and they want men to pay for it !! What else is new. Water is wet.

Only 1 way to solve this once and for all.

Have the men’s team play the women’s team.

Whoever wins gets more pay.

If it is a draw then they get equal pay.

Or just re-invent the payment system to show equal pay per game for men’s and women’s.

Then have a ‘revenue, sponsorship, TV money’ section as part of the payment arrangements.

Having two leagues - one for men, and one for women is sexist. We need to have a league that is open to ALL genders (I think there are currently 38 recognized now???). We need "gender equality" Then we choose the best players to play ;-)

I don't know enough about it, but the last thing I remember being supportive of was higher pay for professional cheerleaders, and all other people of the team.

although I don't think they included the waterboys or people selling popcorn, and my real concern is the overpaid players salary (which is absurd).

but, there's always been a lot of interest and money in physical competition. Seems like there's a lot more sore losers every day.
