Authorities found an internet search on Emily Powell's phone that indicated she had been looking up information about using an ant killer to poison someone.

Powell confessed to the West Virginia State Police that she had used some ant killer on the victim's pizza.

Powell told the police that she wanted to have a relationship with the victim, according to the criminal complaint.

Powell was charged with attempt to kill or injure with poison, and arrested, but has since been released on bond.
