Many MGTOWs believe that by abstaining from interactions with women, the pool of eligible men in the public domain available to women will run dry and doom society, thus causing the birth of a new traditional society. Personally I believe this notion to be absurd. I think women simply won't notice the men opting out. The men removing themselves from the equation will simply open a potential slot to a man of a lower value. Men in the top 20% (figure based on average traits across all male demographics) will simply open a slot and promote men in the 21+% realm into the realm of socially recognized prime dating/relationship category, and will continue to do so.

There are simply too many thirsty men in the world for this to be a possibility for relationships. Even hardcore MGTOWS will engage in marriage if given an opportunity when they weren't afforded one before and the women will never really notice the difference in the shifting traits of the "top 20%". Many men below the 20% line make comparable income to the men above it and I doubt women will ever really notice a change, even if the entire population of top 20 men were to be unavailable tomorrow.

Personally I think for a change to be noticed, at least the top 50% of the male population would have to genuinely commit in a marital opt out or they would have to die in something like a massive war or a male only disease, thus necessitating a return to a traditional society and traditional gender roles and equitable law.

Until then, it'll remain business as usual.

For the men opting out, going MGTOW and going un-noticed, I also believe that law will be written, expanded and loosened to negatively effect and entrap men in more nefarious ways, who's economic output and tax revenue was previously depended on for the survival of the nation's current model and trajectory.

I genuinely believe that for anything to change, a new nation would have to be formed with these tyrannies in mind to guid the new nation.
