Hi Guys,

Long time lurker first time poster here.

I have made an observation that I wanted to share with everyone here. I think that a man's libido is directly related to the amount of time he spends looking at women. I'll try and explain this now so bear with me.

We live in a world today where I have noticed that men either just lower their gaze, are busy looking at an electronic screen or just simply staring into empty space with earphones/headphones on without actually looking/staring at the women around him during their daily lives. We only look at a female when there is actual interaction involved and that usually consists of the day to day women in our lives from work to family to friends etc. During those interactions we are not really "looking" at them we are merely maintaining eye contact or just looking their way for communication purposes. We do not "stare" at females anymore because we are constantly fed this idea of women not being sexual objects and being constantly nagged about not objectifying females etc, and the whole nine yards of PC culture and how anything and everything constitutes as rape in this day and age.

I have found in my experience that when I actually properly look at a female in public who has nice features and really notice her physical features and take my time looking at her I notice my heart rate will start increasing and my libido will kick in. Now it is generally agreed upon that men are visual creatures and since our hunter gatherer days we have relied upon our sight to spot food, spot danger and also spot suitable fertile females to mate with. All of which is directly tied into the successful survival and propagation of the species. There is also evidence of males being the more susceptible gender to being addicted to pornography. Females are addicted to porn and visual stimulus as well but not to the same percentage as the male population is. The men in this day and age have just switched from looking at real females to looking at females on an electronic screen because it is a comparatively "safer" alternative and does not carry the risk of being told on the spot that he is "visually raping" a woman.

I have also noticed that as much as feminists shout and cry about male oppression and rape culture, the majority of the females actually enjoy being looked at and "checked out". In my own experience the females I have been checking out for example at work on a day to day basis know the difference between being looked at and being "looked" at. They are very intelligent with the distinction and actually enjoy it and even give you subtle cues and hints to keep you interested in looking at them.

When I abstain from masturbation for a couple of weeks and just really look at every single female and appreciate their bodies I notice that I end up having higher libido levels and am generally more interested in sex and think about it more. Whereas if I just spend the same time not really looking at women and averting my gaze etc I have noticed definite lower levels of libido and general apathy towards sex most of the time.

This is just my general observation on what I have noticed in terms of actively checking out females and a marked increase in my libido and general day to day interest in sex.

Would love to hear everyone else's thoughts on whether anyone else has noticed anything of this sort or am I just delusional?

P.S: just check women out openly, it's what you are evolved to do as a male.
