Why would a woman be allowed bail and not a man when they both committed the same crime?

A couple both were charged for solicitation for murder (hiring a hitman.) Both made payment to a cop posing as a hitman and told the cop how they wanted their ex killed. The man was denied bail, but the woman was granted bail for $50,000. I have never been able to figure out why. Is this a pussy pass?
