I think many of you guys still don't understand this - humans are by their very nature, gynocentric. Patriarchy is just gynocentrism in disguise. Much of the sexism that exist against women in patriarchies is benevolent sexism put in place because women's lives are considered precious enough to not let them waste it slaving away at job. Whereas men are considered nothing more than workhorses for the plantation.

If you think women in third world and islamic countries have it bad, let me tell you that avg. men over there have it way worse. An example of this would be Boko Haram burning boys alive but only kidnapping girls.
