Manipulating & Medicating Masculinity

Why did they have to go and ruin beards for the rest of us? 90% of dudes I see anymore with beards are exactly like the ones pictured. Can we go back to when tattoos and beards were actually worn by masculine men? Ironically some of the most feminine dudes I know are covered in tattoos and have giant beards. It's so offputting. It would be like a cute 18 year old girl, opening up her mouth only to heard a deep man's voice say "alright, Brother".
