This is what happens when people get propaganda frontloaded instead of a healthy amount of caution. Their worldview is such that they can no longer see the danger they put themselves in. And then reality is without mercy. This is not the first, nor will it be the last that some of these idealists get hurt or killed believing in their fantasy of a peaceful, harmonious world. It may get there some day, but not in our lifetime.
