You wouldn't think a video game icon would be the representation of being treated in such a way. Obvious spoilers of the ending but I'm annoyed by this. Countless games of rescuing the princess only to be dissed and left stranded on the moon. Never thought of Princess Peach to be a "only care about you when i need to be rescued" type of person but i guess that too is not the case. No expectation of hand in marriage or anything that far but taking the Odyssey and leaving both Mario and Bowser on the moon isnt expected either.

Best to just go your own way. You could do a million things for a woman and they could take anything from you without appreciation, or in this scenario, rescue her for the #36,879th time just to leave you stranded comforting Bowser.
