You don't need to be married to experience this. I got this in a relationship. It was never about me at all. I was just the one expected to do the work that really matters. The one expected to give up everything that makes me who I am. All for nothing in return without a single thought about how it would impact my well being. My happiness meant nothing.

I agree. I tried dating a little while after the divorce, but have since given it up and decided to focus on myself. I have not desire to go back. I like my freedom too much.

I literally destroyed my whole entire apartment valuables collectibles that my mother made TV's lamps dishes anything was fair game just like the movie pink floyd the wall.
