I recently deleted my instagram account, but I remember seeing a trend within' the photos of girls that I followed.

Though they aimed to project a candid appearance, it actually came off as looking more and more staged each time.

It seems as though people now live their lives to post their ... "accomplishments" on social media.

I've always been a bit curious as to how some of these girls in their early 20's are traveling to exotic locations every day of the week. Posing on the beaches, expensive dinners, ect. It's not like I'm saying "Hey! You're not working because you don't post your job on a public page!", simply the logistics of it... How COULD you work when you're traveling for 3/4th's of the year... and don't tell me all of them work from home.

Social media is a trainwreck for most people. I believe it invalidates men but does the opposite for women.

Take a look at people in subreddits like r/AMIUGLY ... Does anyone else notice that it's nearly all men? Does that not speak volumes?
