BTW this kind of thing is also (yet another) reason why her "notch count" really DOES matter.

Hint: HPV (especially the oncogenic-- aka cancer-causing -- types*) are a viral infection that likes large amounts of "mucus" -- hence the PRIMARY place it will "flourish" is the Vagina... and sort of "secondarily" the throat (naso-oral-pharyngeal passages, etc.)

This kind of thing has always existed... but the degree and extent of promiscuity (and the ease of travel, number of potential and therefore actual partners, AND arguably the fact that more people are casually into what used to be considered "perverse/kinky" stuff) is making it MUCH more common...

It's also arguably rather quickly allowing the HPV types in question to "evolve" into being much more virulent/damaging forms. (Any disease that previously had to persist in a healthy host/carrier for perhaps a decade or more before being transmitted to another person -- due to LOW promiscuity, and even pragmatic limitations {like travel} on the number of possible partners -- would tend to NOT cause much "quick" damage to the; by contrast if a large number of people have many multiples of partners in quick succession, then all bets are off so to speak.)

* There are actually well over 100 known** "types" (genetically different strains) of HPV -- aka Human Papilloma Viruses -- most of them cause benign (non-cancerous) warts ("Papilloma" is just the $100 medical word for "wart")... common warts on hands for example, are caused by a different "type" of HPV than warts on feet, and those are distinct from the ones that cause "genital" warts -- the former are transmitted by "casual" contact (shaking hands, sharing shower facilities) but the latter are normally only transmitted via "intimate" contact (either genital to genital or mouth to genital), and a profuse "slobbering" or otherwise "wet/moist" prolonged interaction.

** Known meaning identified, tagged, etc -- and it's important to remember the detailed "cataloging" of the various types has really only been taking place for a couple of decades -- obviously no one really knows how many unknown types there are out in the wild, but a good estimate would be several times the number that are "known."
