I'm 21, a tranlator/interpreter(still studying actually), I'm Turkish, trying to get away from the whole world...

I was studying at Electronic engineering, i studied at least 3 semesters at there. I can do many things on board and software systems...

But my real life goal is becoming a writer/translator, that's why i left, why i rejoined the college...

Learning database architecture, structures, data theory, normal forms, all of which you can do online. Multiple products, Hadoop, MongoDB, JSON, ANSI SQL, Oracle, MDX, OLAP Cubes all sorts of products and various services and languages. All products are available with free trial downloads and documentation.

Then you have manipulating data or utilizing or classifying it. Statistics, Calculus, Neural Networks, Recurrent neural networks, classification over time, Hybrid systems, all your basic AI types, SVMs, fuzzy systems, evolutionary programming types, supervised learning, unsupervised learning, data labeling, how deep learning and what different levels of hidden nodes do, etc.

Languages? Well that depends on what you want to do. I've developed weak AI system for various sql products, javascript, python, c-cousin languages, java, whatever. Language isn't that important to be honest, but that's my opinion. You could throw in some Haskell for fun.

I once heard someone say "don't look for a job, look for someone who will pay you to do what you're already doing".

No idea if that advice works for people or not but I was the only 16 year old in my school making thousands of dollars for 100 hours of work just doing web design (which I learned purely out of self interest by getting books out from the library)

If you plan to self-learn anyways then there's no point in self-learning something you don't like. Auto-didacts have a great advantage over the rest of the population but only insofar as they are interested in what they are teaching themselves.
