First off, if I'm breaking a rule in cross-posting, my apologies, no hard feelings over a deleted post.
I prefer to remain lurking somewhat anonymously and I don't want calling my ex-wife trashy on the internet to catch up with me, hence username... But here's my story...
I found this thread and TRP barely a month ago and have been reading voraciously. I lift and tailor my own clothes. I'm a Christian MGTOW disinterested in promiscuity and carrying on with life as though I'll die single, but open to the miraculous blessing of a unicorn (Proverbs 19:14). I'll never again marry or have another child (as if I didn't have enough to scare away unicorns already). For the first time in my life, I have self-respect. Thank you, MGTOW community.
Early thirties. Married twice. Divorced twice. Two kids with the second wife. I consider myself fortunate with how easily I escaped each marriage, with minor losses and affordable support for the kids. It helps that my second wife descended to absolute trash under the comfort of my BP simp provisioning (to my chagrin on all accounts). She shows up to hearings in t-shirt and jeans, reeking of smoke, while I appear well-kept in fitted suit and tie. She weeps over her dubious sob story (which nobody buys into), while I speak succinctly and only as absolutely necessary. I'm a respectable man who made a poor choice for being unaware of the true nature of women, she's trash trying to maximize her welfare and support (and getting worse at hiding it as she declines, post-wall).
I have nothing bad to say about my first wife, she was actually a pretty good woman tainted only by a matriarchal upbringing and I was immature, but she is proof enough for me of NAWALT. I dare not speak the full atrocities of my second wife (unique to her as they are in their depravity, they would readily identify me), but it suffices to say she's a liar, a cheater, a thief, and a generally wicked woman. My first wife showed me how screwed up I was. My second wife showed me how screwed up women are. I'm not screwed up anymore, the lessons of MGTOW, aspects of TRP, and especially the entirety of the Holy Bible are being intentionally applied to my everyday living.
I am a blessed man. My behavior is almost fully synchronized with my values (I'll get to you soon enough, NOFAP). Since my wife left me of her own volition and refused to reconcile (the dangling carrot of welfare, support, and her now ludicrous fantasy of triumphal return to the CC were more enticing than keeping a man with principles - for now), I didn't even break my marriage vows through this last divorce. If and when she tries to come crawling back, you all know my answer. "BE GONE, THOT."
The purpose of my post, beyond my anonymous introduction, is to instill hope among brothers. Society has always been crumbling, from the first society to the present, the inevitable rises and falls of human systems of government. But, if you ask me, the ultimate MGTOW was God Himself, Jesus Christ. This Man never once violated His principles in His entire life. This Man never once succumbed to any external influence. Even face-to-face with the devil, He was triumphant. If you're still reading at this point and you do not share my faith, even still you can appreciate the moral ideal His story espouses.
The flood of incels degraded MGTOW and TRP with hatred, from what I understand, having arrived late to the scene. But, my brothers, I would say that degradation serves to point to the true nature of MGTOW - love. Love for ourselves and love for our community. Support. Encouragement. Hope among a dark and gynocentric world. I feel for our divorce-raped brothers, the self-labeled genetic unfortunates, the lost, and the broken.
I would dare to say that the epitome of MGTOW is one who appropriately loves all, men and women, with an emphasis on our brothers. One can exercise the wisdom in avoiding women while simultaneously eschewing misogyny. Jesus said it's better not to marry, and no man exceeds Him in wisdom, yet He loved women perfectly.
Self-control. Wisdom. Discipline. Virtue. Humility. In all things, balance. Therein lies the ultimate power. We are all on a journey, and those taking the path toward immutable internal power are those who get to experience the true depths of joy, the reality of internal validation, and the power of purpose.
