Our time and energy are the most valuable things you have. Both these things are held in the form of attention.

Attention. Your mental energy and physical presence all into one. The implications of attention are huge. What someone does, has done and plans to do, all relies on where they've spent their attention. Without rehashing past information on dopamine, habits, consumerism, media consumption, the importance of adversity, hobbies, meditation etc. we will simply visit the nature of man and where he focuses his attention.

Man's attention has been devalued. Today's man is not required to be an assertive person, we have seen the conditioning firsthand all the way from submissive childhood education all the way until marriage with the reversal of the traditional gender roles. By holding your attention to the highest standard you will see how much power you truly hold and how wasteful most men in society have been with possibly what is the most finite of human commodities. Squandering your limited attention is worse than wasting time or exhausting your energy, because it is the combination of both that form our attention.

Let's take for example the media industry. This industry has capitalized on our natural human desire for knowledge. The lucrative 'attention economy' has invaded every aspect of our lives. From the morning when we wake up, following us throughout our commute to even interrupting us at work, all the way until we go to bed. We are constantly exposed to media advertising. We are terribly brainwashed, entertained and invaded. For those who decide to combat it, it's quite the effort.

The desensitization to this overexposure is observed here is illustrated by the modern beta man, who's mind and body has been saturated by cheap garbage in his search for pleasure. Mindlessness is stagnation, it is diverting your focus from your objective. In my fitness journey, I was once disgusted by sugary and fatty foods at the beginning, then I learned to enjoy them in moderation. When it comes to where you spend your focus, you will go through the same, but first you must be disgusted by stupidities much like I was. Then you will appreciate this because you will accept it as part of your reality, part of the game that must be played.

Treating your body like a temple and your mind like a sanctuary is much like avoiding bad foods, in fact, it is actually harder due to the invasive nature of modern media. The further you stray away from these influences the more human you will become. An important rebalancing of your receptors will have you freaking out about how sugary blueberries are, then you will be freaking out at the excess of stimuli the images all the pictures and video we are exposed to has to our psyche. Not unlike dieting, eventually you will be exposed to things that I like to refer as 'a little too much'. In the sense that it is way too much, let's just pretend we're normal. What is normal to us now is excessive to a caveman. Coffee has a stimulant effect on me, that I can 'noticeably notice'. Same goes for music or movies, today's entertainment is a lot 'louder' now.

I have embraced the discomfort in sharing experiences with others, whether it be food or entertainment, the initial discomfort of these activities being 'a little too much' for your new comfort zone will wear off like getting used to a drug. In the sense that at first, you are like 'woah' but then you get accustomed to it and manage it with much more ease and comfort. When you move “up to the next level” in any game, you are almost always outside of your comfort zone – at least in the short term.

> Move forward with power, program yourself to feel
> With depth enough to know what’s up and heart to sense the real

Meditation will bring out our natural state of mind, a primitive curiousity that entertains modern concepts our mind wanders because it needs something to focus on. An idea, a task, a memory. Everything we are is a result of a previous thought, something we paid attention to. This post is not here to alter your beliefs, it is here so you can familiarize yourself with the laws of nature so you can be the creator instead of a passenger of your mind.

>For he who has conquered the mind, the mind is the best of friends; but for one who has failed to do so, his mind will remain the greatest of enemies.

When you've disconnected from the virtual world and occupy things that you give a fuck about, you will be in synchronicity with your beliefs, a clearer mind - you will be able to care about others and empathize as well, because your mind is less cluttered. A restless mind hungers for stimulation, and when this is satiated we lose contact with what makes us human. Eat, sleep, breathe - human, think.

When soldiers stand at attention, they are with purpose.
