Skim news subs and /r/the_donald for pointers
Investigate a story independently if interested (non-US media, message boards, YT).
Distill the facts from left/right biased sources by taking their intersection
Apply Occam's razor and draw my own conclusions

This method is not impervious to bias (for example, if all news sources worldwide collude to report false facts or lie by omission), but it's the best one can do given the information one can access.

RT is worth watching now and then. It is backed by the Kremlin and has an agenda (like every other major news outlet) so you have to take it with a pinch of salt, but it has some great documentaries and a lot of Western journalists, show hosts and comedians were practically exiled to that channel simply because their views were too redpilled (in a political sense) for our MSM to tolerate.

Really you just have to wonder how we let things get so fucked up over here that a foreign state is able to use facts and common sense as a weapon.

There isn't - and the majority of the web is using socialist Google as its foundation and, thus, being censored.

The best you can do is seek out partial guidance from select independent thinkers.

The older the source, the more reliable it MAY be.

Stay vigilant and hone your own filters.

As for current affairs, just forget it.

Even then, only believe some of what you perceive with your own eyes.

It's a rotten illusion.
