Most people are schooled in certain ways, university, religion, parents "blue pill", often most people don't go beyond that train of thought that they have been schooled in, they assume they are educated and they let that "education" cloud their minds and enslave them to a way of thinking, you see this with blue pillers, who often shun red pilled idea's because it does not coincide with what the world has taught them about women and relationships. Say a christian will look at things and use their thinking and problem solving abilities in a way that reflects their schooling, often shunning science, or idea's that attack their faith. They are not open to new ideas or new concepts and think that their schooling is right, therefore they do no need to further their education or understanding of the world. I think that is what mark twain was referring to when he said that he did no let schooling interfere with his education, meaning that although he was taught in one way or the other, it did not stop him from further educating himself and seeking new ways of thinking. When you stop learning, you have stopped growing.
