Let me give you a simple interaction we had while out and the context:

We are the same age (very low 20s), but he is recently married and has kids now (he is FUCKED)

We're out having lunch and two young girls walk by on their way to order food.

He says: Bro, call those girls over here.

Me: Why?

Him: To talk to some young ladies, man.

Me: Man, I don't care about that...

Him: You're tripping!

We don't end up calling the girls over (obviously he wasn't going to). This little interaction doesn't seem like much, but it lets me know some things:

  • he's either unaware of how fucked he is in his situation

  • or is perfectly aware but is just projecting his wants on to me

Either way, this annoyed me because in the past I would listen to his "advice" despite feeling as if trying to "game" chicks was pointless - either they want to fuck right away, or no way. I've always felt they never brought anything else to the table and that approaching them was beneath me.

Am I reading into this too much?
