If you haven't seen it, it's dystopian fantasy where man was forced to abandon the Earth as a result of nuclear fallout. After years in space, they decide to test coming back to Earth to see if it's inhabitable again. Once they land, they discover they're not alone. That there are tribes of human survivors who have adapted to the toxic environment. The remainder of the show puts the humans all in constant conflict for various reasons. The entertainment part is seeing the women constantly at the helm of trying to be in control and solve every problem, only to make every situation worse, even getting people killed in various situations. It's a total shit show that tries to push the whole "Strong independent wimmin" bullshit, yet the plotline always involves women fucking everything up.
