Both mid 20s, both in my uni. I was thinking to myself - Him: rather good looking, not overweight, well dressed and probably pretty smart. She: a land whale, not the biggest one, but still a land whale, bad make up, bad fashion sense and probably studying some bullshit degree while he is staying up all night solving differentional equations or writing assembler programs (I've seen this scenario so many times now). Every time I ask myself: Why? I see many nerdy chinese guys having really pretty and slim girlfriends, who even study something useful (usually economy). On the other side of the spectrum, I see the same guys dating this nonsense. Perhaps they're looking for a green card? Do they even need to resort to this considering how well they do in school?
