Your argument is the same one the feminists use about the first amendment. "oh, it's bad because it let's bad people have a voice" "oh it's bad because it let's she's have a voice" It's all well and good until your voice is the one being silenced (and I think you've got it all back-asswards to begin with. It wouldn't be leftists dealing with this issue, it will be all of us.

To my mind net neutrality is a, admittedly weak, attempt to prevent censorship and corporate control of information.

Look at it this way. If the ceo of... Let's say Verizon is a die- hard democrat, Verizon can throttle the connection or upsell access to a republican candidate's website. Or a die-hard leftist media giant can censor or otherwise limit access to websites they find objectionable, including mgtow ones.

It's a slippery slope and the admittedly defanged net neutrality rules were one of the few things keeping that sort of activity in check.

That's not how it works. First of all in poorshit countries like Romania everyone gets ~1Gbit internet for like €10/month, so the ISPs in the US are slacking AND profiteering like crazy.

Second, HUGE companies like Google, Facebook, Twitter and Netflix are definitely not broke. Feminists are definitely not broke, they get institutional support from GOVERNMENTS, billions every year.

These giant companies can afford to pay a few extra shekels to ISPs so that their own fucking internet subscribers can access these sites at full speeds.

Guess who may have trouble paying extra shekels? New startups and smaller websites, so the big companies can choke off any new competition. Basically what Americans just got with this NN repeal is that their internet experience will likely be degraded and they will have to pay more for it. Dumb as fuck.

SJW is not broke, most of them came from middle/upper class. They took a college class about oppression, all of the sudden they became an oppress group.

I think without net neutrality will be even worst.

Net neutrality levels the playing field for smaller businesses, municipal ISP's, online startups, and consumers.

NN was a good thing, eliminating it only benefits the top 4 huge ISP balance sheets
