Sumo are fat in a very different way than just fat people. They have muscular body surrounded by fat. Sumo's are athletes, Fat people are just fat.

Dude with all the fat cows out there that have been 'bulking up' for years, allowing them to compete with male athletes would be akin to allowing Trans women compete with the girls. They're going to dominate it.
