Ok so yesterday I went and hung out with some friends who I haven't seen it quite awhile. Well during the day started talking to my friends wife who can be extremely annoying.

Our conversation went from a whole span of topics and we were debating. I never yelled and surprisingly neither did she, I think because people were around though.

So we get to one topic about single mothers, I stated that generally speaking it's usually the woman's fault for ending up being a single parent by choosing a bad partner. We've all seen it happen and I have at least three women I personally know who chose badly and now are paying for it.

She, unsurprisingly, said it was the mans fault most of the time. She never could explain her reasoning very well, but said something along the lines that men need to step up and women basically shouldn't be held accountable in a nutshell all so the the system should do more to help.

I stated that since women control all the reproductive rights and do the actually birthing process that they need to be more selective on who they breed with and procreate with. She did not like that, and tried to deflect to hypothetical what ifs. Like what if the guy was good than started beating her suddenly and she had to leave. Just grasping at straws, random hypotheticals.

Than she tried to bring up how the welfare system, she works for DHS in Oregon, isn't good enough for single mothers and tells me a story about this daughter who's living with her mother and has two kids from some guy. Guy is out of the picture, and now the mother just took off on her kids leaving grandma with grand kids about to get evicted.

I inquired as to where the father was, and feminist wife to friend says, 'it doesn't matter where he is, don't you see the injustice here.' I say that it is rough for the Grandma, but where is the father. She still refused to tell me, because it doesn't matter, but she slips and tells me the daughter that left is an addict.

I realized that she just admitted to the fact that moms and addict and I'm 99% certain that dads and addict as well. I called her on it once again saying women select bad partners to procreate with, she tried to play it off and change the subject to something else.
