I was requested by u/801735 to make a continued post on my last on about pet tips(specifically in this one dogs).

Disclaimer: I am not a professional I only know this information from training my dog myself.

First they asked how to choose a dog. I would google dog breeds and look though but the main things about picking a dog is this:

  1. How big is your place/how big is your outside if you have some
  2. How much time do you want to put bro training them And
  3. How much money are you willing to spend

Usually larger dogs need more walks, cost more, and need more training where as smaller dogs are the opposite (usually). The common denominator for all dogs is that they need love and attention so if you want a dog you need to be able to give them that.

Secondly the book I used when training my dog was “Training the Best Dog Ever” by Dawn Sylvia-Stasiewic & Larry Kay. Dawn Sylvia-Stasiewic is the trainer of the Obama’s dog Bo and many others. She speaks very clearly and has an index so you can find specific things. She also believes in a no harm system and crate training. Both work great as my dog is an example of this because other than be a little excitable he is very well trained.

But, if you do want a dog or any pet for that matter you should do more research then this little post by lil ol’ me. But yeah. I know gnus doesn’t fit too well in this sub but it is a continuation So idk
