None of your business. This is not your relationship. Tell your father you are very disappointed in his actions and maybe even that it changes your views of him. But in the end, this is between them. Not you. I say this, because moving forward in life you have to maintain a relationship at some level with both of them. I would even go so far as to say this to both of them. Go to dinner and put it on the table. I know you two are in some sort of separated state and I acknowledge that, but you both need to understand I am neutral in this as your both my parents. I will not take sides or play one against the other. You two need to fix your relationship or go your own ways. But do not drag me in to it. End of conversation.

Once you are in a relationship, maybe you would, and you are for a long time, with no sex, no affection, only a child, you will have another woman. It’s a big sacrifice for a man to stand by one girl. The nature of men is not made like that. But if a relationship goes south in terms of sex, you will be sensitive for other women. You can’t fight it. I personally never cheated on my wives. Because sex was happening. 5 times a week. Otherwise I knew, I would have fucked another wahman.

No. Hypergamy is encoded in every women's dna and women have no notion of loyalty, trust or love. Women can appear otherwise but only if it is imposed upon them by society. Think about it, every philosophy about morals and human decency was written by men. Every fucking script. Ever.

Most men are shit, I agree, but men have the capacity to develop notions of morality, loyalty and trust. It is not imposed upon them, but they create it with their minds.

Understanding that women are not totally different from men only with respect to their bodies but also their minds and brains (they played evolutionary totally different roles) is at the core of truly GYOW.

Hence AWALT. But not AMALT. Most men are shit bags, I fully agree, but not all man (as you can observe on MGTOW and by reading philosophy).

That being said, did you ask your dad why he cheated?

Also keep in mind, you don't owe them something, especially if they were shitty parents for you. If you have enough of them, cut them loose.

There was a time when it was common knowledge that a wife's role was to keep her husband happy. People knew men married for affection and intimacy. A wife would be more ashamed of a cheating husband than the husband would be ashamed of being caught. Today, men are supposed to slave away caring for the whole household with zero expectations of anything in return. I applaud the father in the OP for being discreet and keeping his wife in the dark.
