Women don't actually know how to work hard in this day and age and when they have a kid they severely under estimate what it takes. I am a parent and it's the number one priority as well as number one most fulfilling aspect of my life. Sometimes it has been hard but it has increased my happiness markedly, more than anything I have ever done.

I have 50/50 custody so I am never sure how much I influence my kid vs their mother, but I do have to say the few cases of friends I had growing up raised more by their fathers than mothers were remarkably diligent, reasonable and bright. The one ex girlfriend of mine who was raised entirely by her dad besides occasionally visitation by her mom only had issues about being abandoned by the mom who had out of control hypergamy, marrying richer and richer guys and not caring about her children. Aside from that she's now a doctor, yes she's still an AWALT but her dad was a boss and the type of guy I aspire to be like.

Parenthood decreases happiness of single mothers because it's no longer ABOUT THEM and instead about their kid. They can't be selfish whores (or dicks, guys are bad too) anymore so they are falling apart.
