I'll check it out. I'm really picky though. I don't like a lot of anime clichés. I especially don't like when a guy ends up with a girl that isn't worthy of him or when the guy clearly doesn't know his worth.

I can recommend some good anime:
Yahari Ore no Seishun Rabukome wa Machigatteiru (Red pill protagonist)
Houseki no kuni (an amazing 3D anime about gems, one of the best tbh)
Devilman Crybaby (Crazy but one of the best anime with no bullshit just pure adrenaline. Not for the weak and amazing music)
Megalo box (Amazing boxing anime)
Hinamatsuri (One of the best comedy anime)

Megalo box is amazing. I need to keep up with that. I'll look at the others as well. It's getting harder and harder to find anime that aren't blue pilled and actually represents a strong man who doesn't take shit from women.

MHA is a fucking awesome anime, not to say that its manga is bad rather it is really well written HOWEVER because the anime is so true to its source material, because it is in color and animated, because the voice acting is on point, because it has an epic as fuck sound track and because the direction of the anime itself is 5.0 on a 4.0 scale it is actually better than its manga. you will almost never hear me say that about a movie, tv show or anime.

Yea I can't believe it's as compelling as it is when the story seems like it could get cliché real fast. I'm just really liking all the characters. Even the main character I thought would be annoying. to give you context I absolutely HATE Naruto, Erin Yeager, that annoying main character archetype. I thought I'd hate the main character in MHA as well but I'm finding him interesting. Maybe it's because he cries so much and he is adorable. I don't know. Just something different. We'll see how long I keep up with it. I just binged the 1st season last night. Gonna keep going unless/until it becomes too cliché.
I also really like the rival. I like how they depict his fight IQ. I love seeing that shit.

TBH attack on titan is a convoluted mess, least the manga was, dropped it around chapter 50, after it got an anime tried to give it a second chance got to chapter 75 it got worse. it had an interesting concept but the mangaka could not sustain a coherent storyline.
how far did you get with naruto out of curiosity? he does start out super annoying but as you learn his back story and as he starts to actually make friends he mellows out a bit, conversely he stays an idiot throughout the series but he becomes a loveable idiot towards the end.
save for maybe the final parts of the series naruto was actually really well written and considering how long running it was its story and themes actually somewhat grew up alongside its readership. (that said fucking hate baruto) i think its only major weakness was letting side characters fall off to the wayside.

I got until he came back from going to train with Jaraiya. He never changed his personality. He just got more determined and stayed his old annoying self. I never supported his idea to become Hokage in the first place. Becoming a soldier and putting your life on the line for a people that hate you and treat you like trash is definintely against my beliefs. Naruto is a willing slave and I never liked it.

I watched Parasyte but hated the hypocritical ending.
Death Note is my favorite anime of all time and I've seen it about 11 times all the way through.

I watched Cowboy bebop a while back and didn't like it much. I finished Samurai Champloo. I grew up watching Toonami. So I've watched all that. Samura Champloo was good. I was a kid when I watched Cowboy bebop though so maybe I'll rewatch it as an adult.

Oh I don't consider that last 1/3rd of death note as part of the show. The show ends when L dies. Everything else is just fanfiction. Death Note is an amazing anime up until L dies and Light wins. That really show have been the end of the show. It would have been a great. Perfect.
