Then why don't you ever do any of the things associated with parenting when left to your own devices?

I think the whole "need to have kids" is manufactured by gynocentric thinking.

We can convince ourselves of all kinds of things but our behavior expresses our values without self delusion.

I like kids. They crack me up. Especially when they go home with someone else. But I think the whole "need to have kids" zeitgeist is way overblown.
