I'm posting this on a throwaway account because this is very personal to me. I just got out of a painful year long relationship with my gf. She was very self-centered, sexist, and boring. She would only talk about herself, and only asked about my life when I told her it bothered me that she never did. She would expect me to pay for everything when we went out, and would throw a fit when I asked to split the check. Needless to say, the whole thing was hell. We only had sex once. Despite what I just said, I'm thankful for this relationship because it taught me a lot of valuable lessons. Guys, you do not need to have sex or date anybody to find fulfillment. Ever since I got out of the relationship, I've been much happier. I'm not longer expected to please anybody but myself, it's great!! I understand our society makes it seem like sex is the most important and fun thing in the world, but it's really not. Sex is just a few minutes of thrusting and a mild seizure at the end. It's the same as jacking off, just slightly more intimate. It's overrated. Invest in your education, develop your hobbies, pursue your goals. Those are way more important and fulfilling than getting laid is. I hope this post helped someone. Thanks for reading.
