I dated a girl once and I made a joke to her that was me pretending to be black and say some ignorant shit in a deep Tyrone voice. She didn't take it as a joke but rather she said "OMG that deep voice is so hot!" So I guess it's a testosterone thing; deeper voice means more testosterone and is more 'manly' in their eyes (or erm, ears I suppose).

So yah, apparently voice is a thing. I'd argue it is to guys as well. More feminine high pitched voices are more attractive than a girl with a deep masculine voice. But that's not to say it isn't strange to bring it up in a short list of qualities like this girl in OPs post did. I've never said "yeah she's hot. Nice butt and voice is pretty good too." ???

A strong confident voice indicates, well, strength and confidence; and more importantly, a deep tenor or baritone tells them you have high testosterone levels and probably a big cock. Some women may only understand these things on a subconscious or intuitive level, but many - and I know this for a fact - are quite consciously aware of the reasons it matters to them.

Guys do this too, as others have mentioned, only we are looking for other vocal traits that correspond to other basic biological things.

I think that a part of women's delusionally high self-value is instinctual.
