I've dated 2 Chinese women (Both were born and raised in China, living in North America for the past 4 years).

Both of them constantly talked about money everyday. Both of them had no idea what they were doing during sex/kiss (terrible and boring).

One day we went out, she told me she was hungry, and I said: "Oh there's a nice foodcourt over there". And she replied: "What? Food court? I wanna go to a nice restaurant."

In the car she was talking about how her friend was unhappy with her boyfriend because he was not paying everything for the girlfriend. "He is so cheap!" "My friend is considering breaking up with him". "In my culture men must pay everything."

The other ex when we were fighting (this was less than 2 months of dating her): "You NEVER buy gifts for me! NEVER. You are not romantic!"

And another time: "Hahahaha my friend bought jewelry for her girlfriend. I'm gonna leave you and date him hahahaha joking..."

"My friend told me I should not date you because there is another guy I was talking to and he can provide more things to me."

And as a bonus, some of her comments: "You look better in pictures than in person." "You look more attractive when you look sad/unhappy." "EAT MORE! Look your leg. Look that guys leg over there. You are too skinny EAT MORE!!!" "I like you because you look a cold person" (She approached me when I was in the class and gave her number because I look "cold". ?)

In the end, I found out both were cheating on me. One using Tinder, the other Happn. "Oh no, it... it... was not for me. I was just showing this for my friend. She wants a boyfriend!" "Im gonna delete, OK? HERE DELETED!" Then she started crying and called me a sociopath stalker spy because I should not look at her phone screen. (She put the Tinder icon inside a folder so the icon was much smaller).

Both of these were my first dating experience :)

I regret many things and I'll not make the same mistakes again.

I dated a woman when I lived in China for 2 years, but there were some relationship issues that we couldn't get past. In all honesty, I really hope it goes well for you.

For women that grew up in China, there are special rules that apply. Watch out for her parents as they will require you to own a house, car, and a decent income (doctor, etc.). They can make your life miserable and they have the power to force their daughter to dump you if they do not approve of you. It doesn't matter how much their daughter likes you, or how well the relationship is going, or how wild the sex is. For Chinese from China, it is always family comes first. If you make her choose between her parents and you, she will choose her parents every time.

They have complete control over their daughter and they will use her to get to you. That's the major "gotcha" in Asian relationships that western men will get blind-sided by. Buy her parents gifts on all the holidays and treat them with respect and you should be ok for the short term..

For the long term, they will start sticking their nose into your business (what you do every day, how much you make, how you spend your time, how you treat their daughter, what kind of car you drive, how you treat old people, how you dress, whether you are Buddhist or not, whether you are charitable or not, etc. etc. etc.) and either approve or not approve of the relationship which will be the only deciding factor in whether you will be able to marry her. If you don't marry her within a few years, the parents will force her to date somebody else and she will do it, because family comes first.

There is one exception to this rule, and that is the situation where the girl has had a serious falling-out with her family where they are always fighting and can't stand being around each other (usually due to having a very rebellious and misbehaving daughter). In that situation, I think you should buy a lottery ticket because you're lucky as hell to be dating an Asian woman and not have to deal with her parents.

Again, all the above only applies to Chinese women from China. American Chinese for the most part are just like any other American women (except more pretty, obviously).

One thing is for sure, if you’re white, Asian women are far more likely to give you attention, even for the average looking white dudes who most American girls happily ignore for chad pump and dumps.

I have to admit, it’s nice not to hate myself for a change. The attention feels good. You actually feel like a catch. My Asian friend hates seeing their women do this to their own kind though.
