I was thinking this morning about my ex. When I was married, one of the things I eventually found myself doing a lot was, simply, lying. On virtually any subject or decision, if I gave her an opportunity, she'd have an opinion, get involved or tell me what to do. This included topics about which she knew absolutely nothing.

As a result, more and more I found myself either not telling her about things at all, or lying about my decisions, to avoid having to fight. She just wore me down. Women, it seems, do this thing where if they can involve themselves, they will. And it could be anything: what kind of sneakers to buy. Religion. Anything. So you lie. Which gets exhausting. Anyone else experience this?
