Just by the quantum law of probability, with 38,925 people, there's at least one married man on here. Perhaps one man who was MGTOW, had a moment of weakness, and is now in the plague of marriage.

I pity that man immensely. I will never be married. I almost was last year, and that was a lesson I will carry with me for the rest of fucking time.

I know this is a horrible evil thing to say on this sub that will get me shown the door and a slew of snide comments, but I preach MGTOW to any young man that will listen.......BUT Im happily married. I was young, stupid, and horny. Dated a hot girl that could cook well and loved to fuck my eyeballs out. I had a great job and good money. I thought the next step in life MUST be marriage. She had no education at all. No real job. No drive. But that pussy....... dayum. Needless to say we divorced 2 years later and i walked away relatively unscathed. When things started going sour, I learned to hide money and what little assets we gained together (not much) she did not get. Luckily in the state I lived in, ANY asset gained BEFORE the marriage, the judge would not even look at. Only things during were on the table to split. When I started noticing things go sour, I cut up credit cards once we paid them off "for credit building purposes" which was total bullshit, just my reasoning to her. I stopped contributing to my 401k at work totally because she was entitled to half of it WHILE WE WERE MARRIED ONLY. All money that was in it before we married was mine and could not be touched at all. I also took out legal insurance through my workplace. It paid EVERY BIT of my uncontested divorce. I walked away giving her NOTHING 2 years after our wedding day. I was full MGTOW. I ate / slept / breathed MGTOW and still do. I made a list in my head, then on paper of things that a woman MUST have if I were to marry again. On that list contained over 50 things that revolved around her mental and emotional stability combined with her financial background, goals, and knowledge. If she had 90% of the list, no problem....we could date, travel, hang out, fuck, whatever but no marriage. If she had 100% of the list and consistently proved to me that it wouldn't go away after a long period of time, then and only then would I marry again. Fast forward years later, I met a physician at work. She is beautiful, intelligent, poised, and works through life with logic and reason. Years of dating and now throughout the years of our marriage, we have NEVER had a single argument. We discuss the issue and work a plan and stick to it. We have a great, comfortable, peaceful life. She had a very strong family unit growing up with a strong positive male role model of a father. She does not hinder, in fact she encourages me to fulfill my hobbies. I'm physically and mentally healthier for the decade we have been together. Now, I fully understand MGTOW and like I said earlier, I preach MGTOW to any young man that will listen. I understand many people in this sub will call me "cuck" or tell me "well she's gonna change / turn on you / etc". This is one of the things I planned for just in case one day my unicorn did turn. She can fully support herself and the concept of "divorce rape" will not happen. Life is good. We travel the world together, save plenty of money but enjoy the world, and never have I doubted her. She truly is one in one billion women. Ive never seen her take a single selfie. She is not on any social media. She does not engage her female friends that spin and spread gossip. She is a woman among little girls in this world and I'm very fortunate to have her BUT am always ready in case it does not work out. Yes, I am happily married but I will always tell men do NOT marry, do NOT co-habitate, do NOT impregnate. Save your money. Travel the world. Learn hobbies. Cultivate you always.

I am married to a woman 12 years younger from Asia who does all the cooking, cleaning, works, gives sex whenever I want, and is a funny intelligent person and good mother. And still, it has its moments that drive me pure mgtow. Monogamy on the man’s side is not such a huge deal over there as long as you keep it out if your wife’’s face (edit: poor analogy I know). But mostly my complaint is about twice being flagged at work for harmless jokes made in LinkedIn etc where the company was monitoring me. My first marriage was like those guys held hostage by the Taliban.

I am. I knew the risks going into it. I have a lot of reasons for doing it, and I don’t regret it. Some say it’s impossible to be a mgtow and married. I don’t necessarily agree, but it can make it extremely hard. And yes overall I am happy in my marriage, and yes there are some hard things about it. And yes there is an AWALT spectrum.

True story.

Day 9 of no sleep. On at least 7 different drugs, mainly meth, ecstasy, lsd and dmt.

There are several people having sex in the hotel room. Four people I didn’t even recognize in the bath tub talking.

I turn to my partner and crime and said ‘you know, there is only one thing left I haven’t done’
