I studied animal behaviour and evolution in my undergrad and I can explain this to you.

Evolution is only relevant success wise when we are considering the good of the species, not the individual. Your primitive brain centers (medulla oblongata, brain stem, diencephalon, midbrain, hypothalamus, thalamus etc) are neural structures which have existed for a lot longer than our recent neocortex which allows us the gift of rational thought. These primitive brain structures, which aptly get called your lizard brain because they are so old that they are in lizards, will send neural impulses causing you to seek out things which are essential for survival and reporduction- food, water and sex. They also control things you don't pay attention to like involuntary breathing, blinking etc. However sex is not actually good for you as an individual- it brings risk of STDs, danger from rival males, and potentially having to care for a child. But for the species this is fantastic. As long as the genes propagate through time, your benefit is ditto. We are able to silence and control these primitive structures using our neocortex (frontal lobe, temporal lobe, parietal lobe and occipital lobe, mainly the frontal lobe). This is what will power actually is. It's seeing what is better for you long term and overriding the primitive lizard brain which is just telling you to seek food and sex all of the time. It's drugs which hack this lizard brain and that's why even though you know using your rationality that drugs are bad, the impulse becomes just like your impulse for food or sex. It's just a hack on your wiring. Men have realized though that if they can have control over these primitive structures, they can strengthen the control the frontal lobe has on your lizard brain. This is one reason why people fast and abstain from sex. Eventually you will lose out because the lizard brain has much more neural connections to your neocortex than vice versa and thus more control in the end. So no matter how tough you are, eventually you will be forced to eat if you try and fast too long.You will literally become a savage as your brain will shut off your neocotex so that you seek food. Eventually you will have a wet dream if you nofap too long.

So to sum up, no you don't need to think of evolutionarily winning or losing, because evolution doesn't care about you. If you really want to "win" you can spread your seed in some third world country where no one can track you and hunt you for money. That's an ultimate "win" because you have spread your seed and don't have to provide resources. But of course as you can see from our society, simply giving in to these lizard brain urges without actually using rationality leads to a degenerate society. Enlightenment is all about maximizing the power of your neocortex instead of wasting it thinking about how to get laid all of the time. Men can literally design and build miraculous creations, they can figure out ways to turn themselves into master among men...or you can spend your life watching PUA videos and obsessing over how to get laid, while the years tick by. You are literally a slave to your programming if you seek and think about sex all of the time, but if you can take control over your lizard brain, who knows how powerful humans can be. Do you want to be a lizard or a sage?

This is a really stupid point. You’re trying to say mgtow will go extinct. Wrong. Ideas don’t go extinct. Almost nobody who is mgtow was born a mgtow or had parents that were mgtow. That’s not how it works.

Having kids, or not, has nothing to do with MGTOW, that's an individual choice.

Evolution has nothing to do with individuals. Evolution is merely descriptive of changes in a population over time.

MGTOW is an idea regarding social norms and practices, ideas are not related to evolution which describes the frequency of chromosomal alleles in the population based on that genome.

Only 40% of men on average spread their genes. 80% of women have a kid. It’s absolutly no risk to the species.

I am living for myself now, no one else. I don't really care if the human race goes extinct eventually. That's in the far, far distant future. I certainly won't be around. I care about what's happening in my life right now.

And no, I will never have children. I am an antinatalist.
