TL;DR - Girl I blocked on the phone made a scene at party and villainized me and claimed victimhood while I am not there. Didn't understand her actions has consequences.

Background story; Girl no longer wanted to see me several months ago. Her words ,"I don't want to see you or talk to you." Then I proceeded to go no contact and go on with my life.

2 months later, hit me up to check on me and how I was doing but really wanted me to get her something on a trip I was planning (hidden agenda disguised as a wellness check) . Nothing happen, told her not to contact unless it's something romantic. Don't waste my time #1.

A week later, she asked me if I wanted to split rooms with her on a group trip she was invited to. I said ok since splitting the cost seems like a good idea. I booked the hotels and all accommodation. All she had to do was pay her share and show up.

Then it's time to collect the money. I schedule a day for us to meet up. Flakey, she called and asked if she could eat first. I'm like whatever. Went to movies with the boys, came home and called her to let her know I'm home. Went to voice mail. She returned my calls 2 hours later. Told her I'm home and to drop off money. Made excuse it was late (930pm). Don't waste my time #2.

On the phone, I told her I'll be on a business trip and I will make time available when I come back. When i came back, she called, I told her I'll be home in 10 mins. Ok she says. Mins later she called to asked to schedule another night, I said whatever. She called mins later and asked if I know anything about oil heating because apparently she has no hot water. At this point, I'm really annoyed and I went on and blocked her number. I can't deal with this person anymore. No alternative solution to pay for her share. Can't even suggest mailing a check or wire money. Or take 10mins out of her time to drop off the money. Don't waste my time #3.

Weeks later, she went to a party and one of my friends told me she broke down and cried, she sobbed that I don't want to talk to her and I am an asshole and now she doesn't have a place to stay during the trip. She screamed, cussed, called me all the names in the book in front of whoever was there.

During these series of event, I come to understand Briffaults Law. She's only associating with me because it benefits her. I already knew after the trip, she won't associate with me ever again.

But the biggest thing was, she wasted my time that I couldn't get back. The transaction was purely business and I hate to be a debt collector and chase. But it was spun that I just ghosted her for no reason, that I was the villain.

And I don't really give a fuck at this point.
