I currently work with a 55 year old AWALT. Her profile has a pic of her 15 years younger. And she is pretty bad at her job. The basic thing is to get back via email in a timely manner. Can't do that. I was yelled at in an office meeting once and she has never recovered! It's about her! Me, I've moved on and am able to work in a toxic environment, because I'm a man and that's what we may have to deal with. She get to roam around and slack off and blame it on a situation that happened to me!

After the yelling incident my boss has invested a little more in me. Because I was professional and I didn't do what a woman would do: hold a grudge. I get more leeway and I look back at the event as a challenge I overcame.

This co-worker bragged about being in a big company and people would worship these employees wherever they went. Sorry, lady, I've never had that so I've had to learn skills. Programming, sales, negotiation, marketing, engineering, project management... I am nearly half her age with twice the skill. I train her. Of course I would get paid more!

And so I'm grateful for the fire that forges strong men. Women telling other women that being a woman is enough... are missing the point of overcoming challenges. Of trying and failing. Of being graded on their ability to marry and bear children vs. having a career. Men and women are equal, but in different ways. Can a woman do what a man does? Yes, but only if she does it the way he had to: hard work, without help, with true obstacles, and most of all WITHOUT FEMALR PRIVELEGE.
