Earlier today, I tried posting a text post which contained a link to an archived post on a different subreddit and got this message from /u/DangZagnut stating:

Hi. Your post or comment is awaiting approval due to appearing to link to another part of reddit. The reason is that cross linking from one subreddit to another can encourage brigading or vote manipulation and make reddit admins angry. If you're going to link to other subreddits, please go to http://archive.is or http://web.archive.org, or another a caching site, and submit the reddit link you're trying to post. It will create a cached version and give you a url to use instead. The benefit of using this method is that if the linked post is removed or edited, the cached copy will preserve the information you were orignally trying to share. When you have edited or resubmited your post with the correct url, or if you feel this message is in error, reply to this message for moderator approval. Thank you.

Don’t know if that’s a mod or autobot but fuck that nonsense. If you’re gonna do shit like this, then be actually online 24/7 to approve the post ffs. It’s just lazy moderation imo and not efficient.

Been on this sub for 3 years+ and never had issues posting till recently. Sort it out
