I didn't know where else to post this, and maybe this wouldn't be the right sub, but the people I've seen here are quite active, so I wanted your guy's opinion on this.

NJPW(New Japan Pro Wrestling) has been getting a lot of overseas attention due to the fact that it has some of the best pro wrestling you will see anywhere. The thing is in Japan, Pro wrestling companies are separated by gender. This is something that overseas fans don't understand and are demanding that woman be added to the roster.

Why? Because this particular company is popular and the woman companies aren't as much. So essentially what this boils down to is, since the woman aren't attracting enough attention, they need to leech off of the success the men have created. Keep in mind that this all male company was nearly bankrupt but was able to bring itself out of it to the stardom it has.

Instead of supporting the woman's companies, they want them to leech off of what the men are doing. It's ridiculous.

Edit: I guess what this shows is how our society is so obsessed with getting rid of anything that focuses on men, even if there is no point in it. The Japanese of course don't care. It's always been like this and they've been fine with it, but "feminists" can't stand the fact that there's a men only company that is doing its own thing.
