I found this sub after searching why some incredibly eligible men go for simple minded, basic women. And boy am I glad I did! I find it impossibly frustrating when I see guys in misbalanced relationships where it looks like they have so much going for them (smart, successful, funny, and a variety of life skills and interesting hobbies) but they are somehow tied to a woman that can be any combination of kinda dumb, unambitious about anything, don't share or support their interests, boring, expects him to be the "bread winner," and thinking that just letting him bang her on occasion and maybe keeping house (whatever that means) is sufficient contribution to the relationship. That seems like a ridiculously small contribution from her compared to him bringing literally everything else. Why is this so common??? Just pure social indoctrination?? What do you think? How do we change this dynamic?
