Honestly I don't care, to me its just a lot of stupid pixels and polygons walking around going "pew pew". Video games have as much historical relevance to me as any other entertainment trying to be historical.

However I'm not buying it anyway, just like my policy with Disney movies. Shit remains shit.

EA Games is like the Borg of the video game industry. If you make a good Indie Studio and they offer you $800 million (as they've done to Bioware and Pandemic) then you're going to say yes to them and then retire in the Caribbean forever.

The problem with Battlefield is the original people who made BF1942 have probably long since departed... Especially after EA Games ninja bought the majority of their stock and probably assigned new managers.
