"The pussification of men has created a power vacuum that women have consumed. Men need to ironically, learn to treat women equally. And by that I mean no special treatment. No tolerance for manipulation. Women should pay equally. No more free rides for women because they have a pussy and men want it."
My commentary on this may ring as an unpopular opinion here, but this guy, to me, has it right.
What most men refuse to realize and accept is that it's not only okay to admit that patriarchy exists, but absolutely imperative that men do so.
Because by owning up to it, we can
Liberate ourselves from the false teachings and narratives of it, and
make apparent the hypocrisy of most self proclaimed feminists, male and female.
It's simple, really.
It's too obvious, at least to me, who holds the most institutional power in this world and are most responsible for the accepted narratives of and in this society, and it's men.
It's equally obvious to me who's responsible for pressing upon both the male and female psyche the pathology that women, collectively, belong on the pedestal they both benefit and suffer from: men who one day decided that lining their pockets at the expense of the rest of humanity was an acceptable thing to do.
It's those same men who convinced other men that sex is something that women own that men need to earn or resort to deception and/or force to acquire from them.
It's those same men who created and sanctioned bullshit institutions, from "marriage" to "engagement accessories" to "Valentine's Day" to "divorce", all concepts that have no existence in objective reality and were invented by men to financially benefit those same men.
It's those same men who created the pseudo virtues of manhood (that feminists refer to as "toxic masculinity" and MGTOW refer to as "Chadness") that compel men to the insanity of trying to control women from boyhood onward in the first place and robs men of peace of mind and self esteem. Low self esteem and feelings of inadequacy/lack are part and parcel with contemporary notions of "manhood". All of these things are the result of patriarchal doctrine, but feminists would have men believe that only men are capable of inflicting patriarchal violence. Women can and do wield patriarchal violence as much as men do, it just isn't called violence when they do. Women claim to want a society free of toxic masculinity and patriarchy, but intellectualizing their argument from the framework they themselves provide expose most of them as pseudo intellectuals who only want to free women from their patriarchy defined gender roles while pushing men deeper into theirs. This becomes much more apparent when a man commits himself to understanding patriarchy, liberating himself from it and changing himself and his interactions with women accordly.
Using toxic masculinity as an example: there is no way to point out toxic masculinity as the factual, omnipresent thing that it is without it also standing to reason that it's equally factual and omnipresent that toxic masculinity is what the majority of women are attracted to, which means that women have had their very attraction to men hijacked, which means women have just as much unpacking to do as men.
Tell them that, though, and watch most of them reveal themselves to be anti-intellectual as all hell.
