Betrayal is the keyword. As it's often been repeated here - MGTOW is NOT Incel, HQ. Most of the men here have been married or in long term relationships and have had to swallow the bitter red pill one way or another from personal experience.

The biggest red pill is betrayal. When you have someone in your life whom you loved for years turn around and betray you, it hurts like nothing else. Women don't understand it because many of them have no sense of loyalty to begin with which is why they say "move on!" They don't understand that a man's whole world comes crashing down because he built the foundations of his life on that relationship and to find it all meant nothing in the end is truly devastating.

And with that betrayal often comes the shocking revelation that the woman he was once with is gone and likely never existed in the first place - it being just a fabrication, a mask she no longer needed after awhile. This tends to leave men completely bewildered and hurt.

Small wonder more men commit suicide or worse commit murder-suicide. In the cases where kids are also killed in these terrible cases, I have to wonder if it's because the "father" found out he wasn't the father after raising them for a number of years.

you're right. edit. he was rich, world famous, influential.. so in a way I hope other guys going through something notice that and realize it's not them. It doesn't matter who you are, you'll probably get screwed by a woman if you know them long enough

I'm going to be honest with you bro, every single time, I have considered suicide. I just want to say that it will pass and you'll be a stronger person because of it. Some on here might say "Don't be a weak pussy" or "Man up." Okay, I get that a man should have a control over his emotions and shouldn't let it escalate to the point of suicide. Consider this though, females have a way of absorbing every part of the man's being into hers to the point where some "codependency" does arise from both parties mostly on the female's though. It's only natural that the man would consider suicide because he put all of his energy, time, and money into this leech who never wanted to stay to begin with or wanted "benefits." We are left with nothing, we work our asses off to attract a mate then they leave and take everything and we are but a hollow shell of our former selves. I think this discussion needs to happen more often to prevent suicides among men. Women are vile, some have more control than others but most are disgusting hideous creatures who are self-absorbed and want to "tame" us into submission. When a man dies, they don't care because we are "sperm" donors. They have only one drive and function and that is pro-creation. Life finds a way and there are many species (I hate comparing men to animals because we are "higher" in some regards) where the female will kill the male after mating. We are no different, we just function at a higher nested hierarchy. Instead of killing us physically like animals typically do, they kill us through the use of "concepts" or "emotions." This is why self-knowledge and Philosophy are key.

the guys here with scars and who have been truly fucked by the system are obviously going to have less sympathy or mercy, I get that. Say what you like about the Bourdain dude, (I'm in England so he wasn't that big a thing here) his life ended in the most hopeless, misery possible. No one to talk to. No hope for the future. He believed bullshit and it caught up with him. It may not always happen publicly, but it happens.

I've never considered suicide. Never thought a woman was worth killing my self over. I did however get consumed with an all encompassing thirst for revenge. But in the end I think I'm too practical to waste my time and energy with that. It's much easier to appear indifferent. Especially if you know how many cats are waiting for them at the end of their golden carousel years.
