Saw a post about this on the front page and it got me thinking.

Emmett Till was a kid who got brutally beaten and murdered for "offending" a woman in a grocery store in 1955.

It later came out that it was all bullshit. This innocent boy died because feelings. I think you know where I'm going with this.
