Yes, and No.

It's obvious that men and women see love differently. That's no surprise, especially on this subreddit. Men see love as action and virtue. A man bases his understanding on love in the way which he loves. That a woman who loves him does ACTIONABLE things for him to show that love. That she shows virtue such as respect, loyalty and honesty.

Women see love on a more 'surface-level'. Such as words are more important than actions. Such as superficial worship and glib. Such as double-standards and absorption. In many cases, women don't even care if you cheat on them, lie or act horribly to them (because they are usually doing the same) as long as you fulfill their superficial needs.

These two types of love are inherently incompatible. A man who wants his form of love will be disappointed time and time again. A woman, however, can still get what she wants even if the man doesn't. It doesn't 'flow' both ways.

Can women really love you? Sure. As AWALT and NAWALT are both true, there are women who love more like men do, it's just incredibly rare. Rare enough that you might as well bet you life savings on winning the lottery than finding a woman who will love you the way you love them.

I've had women when we were VERY young and they were often women who were inexperienced that treated me incredibly well. The way I would like to be treated. However, as I get older these women no longer exist. Only the ones filled with self-absorption and superficial concepts of love exist. They no longer do anything nice to me, although, they will fill my head with empty words, flattery, glib, and non-existent relationship boundaries. To me, that kind of love, that kind of relationship is pointless and serves nothing more than a form of paying-for-sex. A type of prostitution where you are definitely not her only customer.

I can't be in a relationship with a woman where I don't feel she loves me in the sense I understand it. If a woman can't do something nice for me because she actually cares about me, I have no interest. In over 15 years, I have not dated a woman who I felt actually wanted to do something out of LOVE (virtue, honor, genuine care for me as a human). So I don't bother anymore. I have no interest in today's woman. I have no interest in superficial love, because, at the end of the day superficial love costs you not only your financials and time but also your soul.
